The good news continued this week for Rose City Kings’ new release A Love So Strong on the Roots Music Report charts. Roots Music Reports is the number one independent music chart in the world. The album made a dramatic leap from the #46 position on the Top 50 Weekly Blues Album chart to #13. Rose City Kings has two songs on the Weekly Top 50 Blues Song Chart, which encompasses all Blues genres. The title song A Love So Strong propelled up to the #12 position and One Lonely Morning arrived at 23.
The album A Love So Strong continued its ascent this week on the Top 50 Contemporary Blues chart, breaking into the Top 10 at the #6 position. Remarkably, six out of the twelve songs on A Love So Strong appear on Roots Music Report’s Weekly Top 50 Contemporary Blues chart. The title track A Love Strong, which previously held the #1 position is holding strong at #3. The opening track One Lonely Morning rose up 25 spots to the #7 position
Making their debut on the Contemporary Blues chart are Sight to See (#26), Working Girl Blues (#30), Just Like I Treat You (#35), and Rumba All Night (#50). Working Girl Blues was written by Katy Oberg, a new addition to Rose City Kings. Willie Dixon’s Just Like I Treat You is Rose City Kings’ first-ever cover song on an album.
